Professional Housing Officer, Cecil Meiklejohn takes over from John McNally at Housing and Social Care with the latter moving to Leisure, Tourism and Community thus taking advantage of Cllr McNally’s experience in Leisure matters.
Martin Oliver comes in as spokesperson on the Environment and Community Safety Committee for the first time. Cllr Oliver has been a very effective member on a number of committees and has been rewarded with a front bench promotion with a remit to target Labour’s poor record in this area.
The hugely experienced members, David Alexander remains spokesperson on Policy and Resources, Tom Coleman on Education and John Constable on Planning.
